Calitri’s is about 15 miles north of Boston. It’s an old red sauce type of place, but uneventfull, it’s seen it’s day. I drive by there almost daily and notice there are less and less cars in the lot. Although I’m being unfair as I haven’t dined there in about 3 years. It’s on my list now for another visit soon.As for a one and only night visit go to the North End, many fine choices.
It is a very short walk from your hotel {weather permitting} and a huge amount of choices in a small area. Walk there but take a taxi back, you will need the rest after a large meal. Chow Jim
Agree Jim -i checked the website and immediately got the old worn not special vibe- Bacco’s however looks very good and may win.I’m a sucker for pasta w/ eggplant and any dish w/ fresh mozz.
Any help on buying bagels lox, etc before heading north – Maine is hurtin and post on breakfast forum has resulted in abject failure and mild depression.Boston Bagel Prozac anyone?
