First of all, your FATHER was an SKSN in 1977? You have no idea how depressed I am now. The name (Dan Evans) is familiar (and also not exactly unusual) but I can’t say for sure I knew him. Actually, he was probably there the year after me (I went down there in Sept 1976, came home in Oct 1977 so I think that would make it the winter of ’76, not ’77). But some of the winter guys were in "Summer Support" for several years and so he may have been there during the summer while I was there, but then so were about 1000 other people and I didn’t, by any means, know them all.
