I don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but I view most of the pre-discount prices as too high. I don’t view it as them giving me a savings; if they don’t offer a decent price (card or no), I’m not going to buy it until the price is right.

This sort of feels like when the oil companies lower the price of gas five or ten cents many people think that the companies are being generous; it wasn’t too long ago we were paying fifty cents less. Funny how the mind of the consumer works.
