We still have Super Fresh here in the Baltimore area too. And believe it or not, their newest stores come closer to the delightful 21st century shopping experience of Tom Thumb, Publix or Harris Teeter than the area’s leading store, Giant, who just opened a brand new store only a few blocks from me. This new store is indeed an improvement over most of their stores. This one is cutting edge 1980’s grocery store technology, while most of their others are stuck in the ’70’s. It’s just pitiful.

Thankfully we will have Wegmans opening soon in Hunt Valley.
