I’m surprised that In-N-Out is on this list.  It’s maybe a notch above a McDs burger.    I agree with the comments about there looks to be many “foo-foo” (or is it fru-fru?) burgers on the list.   I did enjoy “Melt” in Leesburg, VA.  They have fresh baked rolls.  Their one glaring negative is the use of shredded lettuce (I call it grass-like substance).  Can they not just leave the iceberg leaves whole, or at least in large pieces?   The shredded stuff dries out and has a bad texture.   Anyway, it was an otherwise nice burger.  I have tried a VA branch of DC’s BGR burger a few times, and it has been mediocre each time.  I’m probably not going back.
