I do prefer sauces without HFCS, though.
I picked up a bottle of The Shed’s Southern Sweet BBQ Sauce over the weekend. It does not have high fructose corn syrup. Its first ingredient is brown sugar. All of the ingredients are pronounceable [:D] The only head scratcher is the carrot powder at the end of the ingredient list.
Haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but a quick taste reminds me of the old Lea & Perrins BBQ Sauce from back in the ’90s.
