Scott, I’m glad you found my suggestion to be accurate. I hope others follow your example and give the Bar-B-Q Barn a try.

I agree with you about their side dishes. They need more variety. They’re just starting out, so maybe they’ll add some more in the months ahead. I had the potato salad tonight. Usually, potato salad is rather bland & serves as tasteless filler, but this place continues to surprise me. They had some of the best potato salad I think I’ve ever had. This stuff had flavor!

They need more in the way of desserts, too. All they offer so far is coconut cream and chocolate cream pie.

I have become addicted to their smoked chicken. I think that is their best offering. I never need to add any sauce to it, which is my litmus test for any BBQ place. That chicken is smoked to its very core. Evansville needed a good barbecue restaurant. I’m glad this place is here.
