A. I didn’t take the picture. I found it on the web, but it seems to have disappeared anyway.

B. Yesterday, it was almost as hot here as San Jose is all summer. I had to take off my jacket, even in the evening. But thank Heaven the fog was back today (I could see it all day, but over my head was the usual bright blue sky and bracing sunshine).
