Recommended bacon sandwich: bacon, fresh basil, tomatoes, a little Parmesan cheese and some mayonnaise. Great!

I recommend Costco bacon, which we cook hanging from an as-seen-on-TV bacon rack in the microwave. I like it still chewy. We’ve explored some mail order bacon, Nodine’s, Burgers’, Nueske’s and A. Wallace Edwards (Virginiatraditions.com). All were good and we continue to explore the web, but we keep coming back to the thick cut bacon at Costco, which is in the refrigerated section near the spiral sliced ham.
