Last weekend I was a judge for the New Holland PA Summer Fest BBQ event. My wife had volunteered me because she saw an opportunity to buy her favorite bacon just south of Lancaster. We hadn’t been back to this area for a few years and this was her opportunity. There is a butcher that smokes his own bacon (an other products) and he’s only open on Saturday mornings. His ‘store’ is next to his house on route 222 near the junction of 741. My guess is it would be the town of West Lampeter or Willow Street. She bought 6 pounds!
