Rhodes,
I go to the PA Dutch Mkt in Westminister & I think the same family has the butcher there as Germantown & the Mkt down on Rt 29. I get a really good turkey bacon from them too. Like you say it’s somewhere between bacon & ham. They also sell a pepper coated bacon. I love that for sandwiches. A while back some one on this board wrote about a bacon & grilled onion sandwhich – I tried it & am hooked. I use a good sweet onion (Vidalia, 10/10, Walla-walla) & saute thick slices in the bacon gease put between two slices of toasted mutigrain with a slice of cheddar & it’s to die for. I like my breakfast bacon cooked right up to crispness but still pliable. I believe a couple of slices of bacon will improve anything![:p][:D]
