I go to the PA Dutch Mkt in Westminister & I think the same family has the butcher there as Germantown & the Mkt down on Rt 29. I get a really good turkey bacon from them too. Like you say it’s somewhere between bacon & ham. They also sell a pepper coated bacon…. I believe a couple of slices of bacon will improve anything![:p][:D]

The Lancaster market also has great smoked pork chops, love those! My Mom gets wonderful bacon from the Austrian Smokehouse in the farmer’s market in Halifax NS, and the woman who works there told her once `My grandmother always said the sign of good bacon is that it can stand straight up in the air when it’s cooked.’
