I’m definitely jealous, Unlike some people here on the forum who are lucky enough to visit Denver at least once or twice a year, there are no plans for me to visit Denver (or for that matter any of the Rocky Mountain states) in the immediate, far…or even very far future for that matter. [:(][:(]
I’ll tell you what, WJ, I’d gladly trade places with you and let you have the trip to Denver in exchange for even half of the roadfood you eat in any given year!
To be honest, Denver wouldn’t be near the top of my list for cities to go on vacation, in part because it doesn’t strike me as a great roadfood city, but it is for my wife and she’s agreed to be a good trooper about going along to one barbecue place after another when we go to Texas in October. It seemed like a good trade-off to me.
Someone is going to have to invent extra $ and vacation time for me to get back to Denver. I already have all my/our trips planned through 2018 and now my girlfriend and I are talking about doing the Canadian Maritimes, Montreal and Quebec City in 2019 for G-d sakes! I hadn’t even thought about 2019 and she brought it up. I can’t see getting back to Denver until at least 2020! and I’m sure Sandra will be talking Europe that year- so there goes that…
BTW- Texas- is slated for both next year and 2018- Dallas/Ft Worth for next year and Amarillo/Austin/San Antonio for 2018.
