I went to the grocery yesterday, and bananas and blueberries were outrageous (I did not get them). And, with gas prices as they are, gone are the days of leisurely country drives. We do most of our dining from prepared from scratch home cooking, but yes the food prices hit the wallet hard. And, it’s not just the food, have you checked out the prices of paperback books in the grocery lately?
We’ve definitely made some lifestyle changes…….we have horses and you don’t even want to know how the hay price has gone through the roof considering the blight last summer’s crop was.
