Tiki,
I live far enough out in the ‘rural hinterland that if I want to throw grenades at Bambi I could do it without fear of prosecution!…Last year I happened to hear gunfire in the semi-near distance…Not just a target shooter as it ripped off well over 75 rounds in a matter of seconds. I decided that I had better report it to the local law enforcement folks. The dispatcher told me on the phone, not to worry that it was probably her cousin testing his muzzle-loader. I had never seen a full-auto muzzleloader, but figured to leave well enough alone.
RE- The exotic animal residue…When we lived in New Jersey we used to obtain Rhino and Elephant dung from the Safari section of Great Adventure theme park. We used it on the garden and flowers for several years…I always wondered if, in the future, some Anthropologist would declare our old homesite a source to prove that such animals roamed the area in the late 20th century.[;)]
About Stark’s, It is a short drive from Hannibal MO to the Stark Nursery in Louisiana,MO. If ever traveling up the Mississippi River in Mark Twain Country I would encourage a stop…just to see what "specials" they have at the store. We have purchased a number of plants and trees that way and have found it to be a pleasant stop on a roadtrip.
