When I was a kid, my parents grew many different apples, among them Red & Yellow Delicious, Jonathan, Macintosh; I’ll try to check with my mom for more detailed info. There are hundreds, if not thousands of commercially available varieties today; at the Common Ground fair in Maine last year there was an apple tasting and there were approximately 130 varieties tasted, all grown in Maine! So I’m sure you have just as many choices in Wisconsin.
