John,
You’re right about the orchard fresh apples…We have a couple of U-Pick orchards in this area…That’s where my introduction to both the JonAGold and the Goldrusher was made. I have learned a lot about Apples since meeting the U-Pick folks ! We have used them each fall since we moved into the area..Hopefully in another year or two we will have enough of our own crop !!
Does anyone out there have any experience with the "Prairie Spy". I know it is a cross between Northern Spy and something else, but am not familiar with it..We have two of them in their second season, so it will be awhile before we see any fruit from them.
