Heated by quartz tubes, the Behmor can be shut off at any time or you can wait for the pre-programmed cycles to finish. It then goes into a cooling mode. The wire basket continues to turn your beans, expelling chaff into the collector for X amount of minutes depending on the weight of your roast. The beans are cool when the cycle is over which is less than 15 minutes. It’s a brilliant design that’s very well thought out. It can roast up to one pound and it’s about the size of a good toaster oven.
