Pogo, you’ve got me by a little bit. I used a Whirley-Pop (still roasts nice coffee), a Zach & Dani, now renamed a Nesco, and I sprang for the Behmor 1600 which is just incredible.
My favorite source for beans is sweetmarias too and I favor African beans with anything Ethiopian roasted to a City being my favorites followed by Kenyan AA. I just got some beans from Bolivia that are offering some very nice chocolate notes. I joined in but haven’t yet purchased from Green Coffee Buying Club and see they have some nice prices on Harrar and IMV. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy fresh roasted coffee and I have difficulty drinking anything but. I’ve been invited a Yemen tasting party in June and I’m really looking forward to being educated by some experts. Life’s too short to drink cheap coffee. Have a cuppa for me. Glad you bumped the thread.
