First saw Bruce on February 17, 1977 at the Richfield Coliseum…been a fan since. Last Sunday, I took my 16 year old to his first Springsteen Concert and my 77th. We had a great night! The energy and intensity are as strong as ever. Monday nights 78th was even better from a song selection standpoint as he audibled a 12-year olds request for Thunder Road.

While I don’t agree with some of his views, 60 seconds of comments are not out of line during a 2 plus hour show. Since the beginning, he has always supported feeding the hungry and his "help the foodbank pleas" are longer than his 1 polictical statement. The Greater Chicago Food Depository was on hand just like every Chicago show I’ve been to. Every concert has a food program in place and they are posted prominently on his webiste next to each setlist.
