Blackstone’s in Beaufort made our ‘two mornings in a row’ list, which is very short. It’s excellent. And there’s a little wooden shack joint on the road to Hunting Island State Park that serves shrimp burgers, across the street from Gay Seafood, whose name is escaping me now–that’s pretty great.

In SC you seem to be a Hilton Head Person, or a Not Hilton Head Person. There are plenty of other terrific places to go to the beach.
