Orange Julius is made at most Dairy Queens around here…it’s advertised as the “real” Orange Julius.
You’re missing the point. In 1987 the chain was bought out by Dairy Queen, so some time after that time the recipe changed. They stopped using fresh orange and who knows what else. Definitely not as good as it used to be.
There is ONE Dairy Queen I know, but I forget where it is.. it’s in middle america somewhere I think, in some small town.. it’s the only Dairy Queen that has stuff on the menu that was taken off Dairy Queen’s menu many years ago. I think I saw it on the news and then went online, or I just saw it online I can’t remember. I am not totally sure about the Orange Julius being made the original way (I can’t remember the whole thing I saw), but I definitely know they have DQ items that aren’t on the menu any more.
