thanks for the advice! We’re visiting friends in Lexington; going there, we’ll be moving fast and probably need breakfast and lunch quite near the highway. I expect we’ll want breakfast on I-68, lunch on I-79 or I-64. We like to stop at local places with local flavors. If there’s an extraordinary Chinese buffet or Italian place, we might stop, but usually look for something an area specializes in, plus we love breakfast! On the way home, we’re less pressed for time and might well travel further off road and adjust our schedule if someone suggests a "good food" place to check out. Kid friendly is important at this point in our lives.
