Travelling along the Daytona Beach hotel strip, roadfood type food may seem nonexistant, but turn right off of 1A onto U.S. 92, cross the Intercoastal Waterway, and then turn right on regular U.S. 1 (Ridgewood Avenue). Soon, on your left, at 200 N. Ridgewood Avenue, you’ll see the Piccadilly Cafeteria.

Yes, I know it’s a chain, but this location is special, as it preserves the quality and service of what it used to be, a Morrison Cafeteria, what was the best such chain in the nation.

You’ll find the usual southern favourites, including awesome Pecan Pie at at fairly reasonable prices.

Enjoy your trip.
