Those are some comforting images of the winter season, but I fear I’m not alone in saying, "enough."
While we don’t have much winter weather to speak of, we do get our share of high winds, hit and miss tornadoes, and hardly ever snow – always freezing rain – and the sun never shines for over two days in a row.
I long for spring – trees budding and grass turning green and all of the nurseries brimming with flowering plants and shrubs. Hostas and ferns peeking up through the earth after so many months of dormancy.
And it’s time to go fishing!
