When I drove from Rhode Island to Miami this Past November I stopped at 3 great Barbeque places on the way down and back. For great North Carolina "Q" go to Wilbur’s in Goldsboro. It is quite aways from 95 but it’s worth the extra hour or so round trip. My other suggestion for South Carolina mustard style is Dukes in Waltersboro. Just take the Waltersboro exit and follow the signs. They have a buffet and you won’t be dissappointed
