Nice to meet you! I’m a long time lurker of Road Food but only just recently remembered how to sign in so this is only my third reply. Ironically, I really don’t like to cook but I love to read about ‘real’ food like road food, rather than haute cuisine, and love to read other people’s accounts of their adventures so I keep after the trip reports. Due to budget and health restrictions, I don’t get to eat as much bbq as I’d like but I have eaten at City Market in Luling and Black’s in Lockhart and like both quite well. There’s another place in Lockhart I’ve liked but memory fails me but I’ll supply the name if I think of it. I loooovvvveeee dairy products so I really like the Wisconsin accounts. I see the Carolinas are known for soul food, general southern cooking and BBQ. Yum, yum but have I overlooked anything?
