Bushie,

Thank you for the info. We are really looking forward to this trip. We have recently moved to the Rio Grande Valley from Oklahoma and the kids are going back to spend the summer with Grandparents. Austin is just about 1/2 way between and makes a great place to meet and have a mini-vacation.

We have eaten at sol y la luna and gueros, both have good breakfast but i prefer the ambience at Guero’s… and the salsa bar is pretty good. We also like to get a chance to stop by Central Market and Whole Foods, not many choices in the Valley.

Let me know if you head down to S. Padre There is some great food in the Valley and I would be happy to return the favor.
Paul
