My thoughts are……you have to drive to wherever you buy the dogs. Then you have to drive to your commissary or wherever you keep your cart. Then you have to tow or trailer your cart to wherever you set up. Then you have to pay for the propane to heat them. Oh, I’m sure the cart wasn’t given to anyone for free either. Almost everyone pays something for the site or event they set up at. Add in license and insurance costs. Then trailer or tow your cart back to your commissary. Add in the cost of the buns and all of the gas that was burned. What’s left? I still think it’s a bad concept to sell a hot dog for a buck, but that’s just me.

Chiliman, I notice you drive a pretty nice tow vehicle. I notice that one of the 1 buck sellers drives a piece of major-dented crap that I wouldn’t get in to go a block.
