Hi everyone. Just a warning that the Old Post Office on Edisto Island SC is closed for some period of time for remodeling. We were at Edisto last weekend and on Saturday evening made our regular pilgrimage there to find it.. CLOSED. We went back to the Sunset Grille on the dockside in town, and found that it is a "sister" restaurant to OPO. One of the wait staff from OPO was there and told us that it would be closed for about another 4-6 weeks, meaning it would likely reopen in May. Guess we’ll just have to make another trip there about then.

By the way.. the Sunset Grille was a real disappointment. The place was very overcrowded, noisy and extremely unorganized. The night we were there, people were waiting an hour for their food after they ordered. We didn’t have to wait that long, but the food was only OK when it did arrive. The up-side was that the view from the dining area was awesome at sunset.
