Stuff we waste too much money on—–according to a survey published by AOL today.
Two, or three should be interesting to Roadfood People.
#1 is clothes——–we buy when things are on sale, or when we see something
that we “just have to have” even though we don’t need the stuff. We would save a ton if we
just bought what we needed.
I have a whole bunch of suits worn out from being moved, not from wear.—I have not worn one in YEARS. I am a confirmed Sport Jacket and chinos guy—-also I must have 100 ties. Wore one last August for a few hours.
But #2 in the whole USA is Kitchen Gadgets—-Ah Ha !!!!! Isn’t that the truth,
how many things that we have in drawers (that can’t open any more) that we never use.
The 2 items they cite—–the Bread Baking Machine. Used once in a while, maybe. Not worth the money or space and #2 The Electric Carving Knife. Since I never have had either I feel great.
Another one at #8 or so was bottled water——a few years ago you could not go anywhere without seeing some one sipping away. They looked dumb—maybe they caught on because you don’t see it as much any more.
________And believe it or not—–weddings.
Spending 50 grand or more for a wedding looks like a waste of money after a few years. Give me the 50Gs now that I need it.
Just a little something to chew on on a hot Thursday in Florida.
