Hey everyone

We are making a trip from Marietta GA to Asheville NC for Bele Chere this weekend, and are planning to stop along the way(ish) in Spartanburg to try the Beacon Drive-In for lunch.  Unfortunately, my wife’s work has a VIP meeting right at the time we planned to leave.  If she gets done in time, we still plan to stop at the Beacon, but if it drags on, as meetings do, well, I don’t want to have lunch at 3 in the afternoon when we have supper plans at 6 in Asheville.

So what I’d like is a back-up plan for something new to us that we can hit along I-85 just in case.  I don’t want to get far off the highway this time at all, but I’m thinking some sort of roadfood around the towns of Pendergrass/Jefferson, Commerce/Banks Crossing (it’s all mallfood there, I think), Carnesville, Lavonia or Fair Play SC must surely exist.   Does anybody know of any good places in these towns?  Thanks!
