Well it took a while as I’m in my 60’s but we went to Anthony’s coal fired pizza in Stuart, Fl. It was absolutely delicious. Anthony’s has a few locations in south Florida. The sauce was light and the sausage was very good but the thin crust with the blackened edges was what made the pizza. If the place wasn’t 20 some miles away I would be a regular but I will get there occasionally. Now I can understand why some people may not care for this cooking method as many of the negative reviews on Google refer to the crust as “burnt” But it really hit the spot with me.
