went to some fancy steak house here in nyc saturday night and did not like the steak..came out tough and cold…even the butter on top stayed in the circle it was cut in the whole meal – did not melt. and this was a $100 for 2 porterhouse dry aged spot…ANYWAY…took the steak and threw it in my stew on sunday and it tasted amazing!!! much better than in its original form!
A good thick stew with carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, good stock and onions is so tasty.
