I had lunch yesterday at Port Clinton, OH at the Jolly Roger which is a truly roadfood place. It is sorta small but they offer fresh perch and walleye. I watched them filet the perch. They were doing it by the bucket full. They lady that did that was very good and quick.

I ordered the perch platter which consisted of fries, slaw and perch on a bun which was three filets. The slaw was very good and the tartar sauce had mustard which was OK but not my favorite. The perch was very good and tasty. I did not try the walleye. I wish I had but I had never had perch before.

If you are in the area, I would suggest you try this neat roadfood place.
