Their menu is….you eat whatever is being served that night. RACK. That way you don’t sit your ass around a table while everyone tries to make up their mind. You come into a nice dank atmosphere and the AWESOME employees just bring you grub in little bowls to pass around the table, as if you’re eating at grandma’s! This concept is GREAT! Anyone have a place like that around them? Anyway…
I am still buzzing right now from this thing. GOOD LORD! WOW! They bust out a big thing of fried chicken, a bowl of Carolina-style pork bbq, some slaw, some mashed potatos, a HUGE bowl of dark tasty gravy, some collards, some pinto beans , some green beans, some bizzies and cornbread.
And that’s not all….It’s ALL YOU CAN EAT!!
They keep bringing stuff out. We got in there late so we were the only ones in there except for another table so it really was like eating in your own crib! "Got any more white meat?" is all you have to say and they will go "yep!" and bring it right out.
"More mashed potatos please?" They smile a bring a fresh bowl. We even asked for more apple butter packets….. PRESTO. Rack these people! They brought a bowl of bbq sauce which I used to drizzle on the fried chicken as I ate it. I floored the first helping of everything and kept the bowls coming around. Everyone else was done and handing their plates in as I was scooping the rest of the bbq and the pinto beans on my plate, grabbing more chicken and utilizing ALL the butter packets I could on the cornbread. Just in the ZONE tonight. This ranks up there as possibly the greatest meal ever. EVER. The only thing they MAY have added would be warm apple slices and some chicken livers to go with all that epic gravy. That’s the only thing you could add.
They brought us cake and ice cream as dessert.
One of the dudes there said there were two women who came in a couple days ago and ate NINE bowls of the fried chicken. Rack those women for using the all-you-can-eat thing.
How can I encore this??? A bigger bowl of chocolate ice cream tonight? I can barely breath right now . I wonder if that place sells breakfast or lunch?
YEAH!
