I know in many parts of the country a hot dog cart is a regular part of life, but here it is turning out to be a huge novelty.

I am going to lay out the way I do my private party pricing and I would encourage feedback, and encourage you to share your private party fee schedule.

This is what my cart has

I give my clients two options:

Option One: All-You-Can-Eat

Adults: 9.95
Kids under 10: 5.95
$250 dollar minimum

Option Two: Deposit and Per-Item

I charge the client a $100 deposit for the event. I work the event and track the items vended on a clipboard, and charge the client regular menu price at the end of the night. If the total of vended items exceeds 250 dollars I refund the deposit.

What do y’all think? How do you do it?
