Stopped at Goldy’s this a.m. for breakfast. Had one of the specials today. Crepes with fresh blueberries. Side of real ham. Really, really good. Took half the ham and 1 1/2 crepes home.

They also have very good corned beef hash and will fry the hash browns crispy if you ask. They will make anything the way you want it. They are good about that.

Here’s the location: 1023 Northwest Highway in Park Ridge. They are open 6-3 except Sunday the hours are 7-2. My only motive here is selfish. I want to keep them in business! These little diners are, as we know, becoming harder to find. By the way, they are only open for breakfast and lunch.
