I’ve tried various fruity brats – apple, cherry, maybe blueberry – and was never impressed. They just lose that distinctive "brat" flavor when the fruit is added. The apple brats were more like a (very good) breakfast sausage, than a bratwurst.
Any other thoughts on these adulterated brats?
