My wife and I are deciding on a food trailer and we cannot seem to get a simple and cohesive answer. Our trailer will be about 7×16 and no larger than 8×18. We will have a griddle, gas fryers, 2 – burner open flame and assorted other goodies. Are we required to have a vent hood fire suppression system or would a couple fancied up fire extenguishers work? We are looking at about another 3K investment that could be put elsewhere if it isn’t a requirement. Also, we will not be moving around from place to place, we will pretty much have a set location and on occasion we might set up elsewhere. The only travel we would do is we plan to summer in the mountains and winter at the beach.
