Well, progress is being made! A quick status update: several weeks ago, I finally found a location (the one I has posted about previously did not pan out) at the Aubuchon Hardware in Shelburne Falls, MA (right on Route 2, through that stretch also known as the “Mohawk Trail”, which in addition to being a major commuting route is also a major tourism area). I have my permits from the town, and on Friday I moved the trailer up and set it in it’s location. All I have left to wait for is the electric company (damned Western Massachusetts Electric Company – I’ve never heard of any business that makes it so difficult for someone to actually buy their product as these dingbats), and once the electric is installed, a final pre-opening inspection by the Board of Health. Over-all, this process has been absolutely seamless. The electric is the only glitch going on.
But, anyway, while I sit around impatiently waiting for my electricity to be installed , my friend Chris and I finished applying the lettering and decals to the trailer (well… almost finished – we still have the web address and phone number to add to the front just above the wheel – everything else is done).
Have a look! I couldn’t attach the pictures here (they are too large) but you can see them at my web site, http://www.EatAtStubbys.com
