Hey guys I am new to roadfood. I am looking to open a restaurant. What would you say is the best way to find a commercial real estate agent?
I have been looking online using loopnet.com. Do you think it’s best to just call an agent that has a listing available?
How did you guys find your place when looking?
Also I would like to open something in Sept of this year. If I find something now do I just sign a lease and pay the rent till I am ready to open? Or can I tell them I want the place in Sept?
I know someone will ask why Sept. I am still working a 9-5 job and saving up as much as possible so I have more money to open this place. I am guessing I will not see a profit for a while so I am saving up to be ready.
