We decided to stop her after hearing the Sterns mention it during their recent visit to Charlotte.

Well never again.

The potato pancakes were thick and greasy. The onion rings were overfried. The crab cake sandwich was a hard ball and once you broke through to the inside you found a mixture of a little crab and what looked like cole slaw. The waitress said that diners from Maryland said it was like nothing they had ever eaten.

The chicken pot pie was a special so two of us got it. We were used to the flour, dumpling like noodle, so that was fine. There were several large pieces of white chiken meat. There was a lot of celery and potatoes. Not much flavor, but added salt and pepper helped.

The wait staff needed to take smiling lessons. The interior of their dining room was a Cracker Barrel wannabe.

We are sorry we drove out of our way to this place. Hope you don’t make the same mistake.
