When I was a kid in the 70s, my dad used to buy bags of candy at the candy counter at either Montgomery Wards – or it may have been Sears. I really miss those candy and nut counters.

Anyway, I have yet to figure out what this candy was called and if they are still made.

I will describe: They were white, spheres about the diameter of a half dollar with a delicate light coating of crispy crystallized sugar and the inside was a white cream about the consistency of fudge with a light vanilla flavor and in the center was if I recall correctly a pecan in the middle. They were SO good. I could even try to make them from scratch if I even knew what they were called. Perhaps it was a divinity.

If anyone recalls what these were called, and if they are still made, I would be really grateful.

Thanks
