I’m trying to find the candy described below. I bought it years ago from Nagel’s Candy Barn in NJ and also in a candy store on Cape Cod. I’m trying to find out where I can by it now or maybe even get a recipe for myself to make them at home.
Candy: It was heart shaped around Valentine’s Day no bigger than a half dollar and was cinnamon flavored and mostly made with sugar (I assume). It was easy to bite in to and melted in your mouth with a slight granular feel to it. For Christmas they made wreaths in red, white, and green. I believe both the white and green wreaths were mint flavored or something similar. The red wreaths were cinnamon. Again, easy to bite and melted in your mouth with a slight granular feel to it. I called up Nagel’s but was told they don’t carry the candy any more because the company that used to make it went out of business. If you know the candy I’m talking about, please let me know where I can find it or be able to provide me with a recipe. Also, if you know the company that used to make it I might be able to do some more research.
