At a meeting of folks in my line of work in Chicago, rep’s from all over the Midwest met to discuss futures etc. We had a social that was catered by the hotel where we met. As an ‘ice-breaker’ to get folks talking, we had requested that each group bring a six-pack of what was considered to be the "Best of the Worst" beer from their area. A committee of members were selected to act as judges, and the activitiy did indeed foster a number of conversations. I remember thast we brought ‘Falls City’ from Louisville, and the guys from Kansas had a bright yellow pack of something with a generic label that said simply "Beer". The winner of our small sampling were the folks from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, with there local "North Star". everyone agreed it was the "Best(Worst) of the Worst" at that time.
I still hold that Falls City is near the top, but with the nationwide coverage of this group, perhaps some of you can nominate another brand?? How does this fit with Roadfood??? Try sitting in a motel in the evening, just got out of the pool, too lazy to dress up for going out, and need something to wet your whistle… That’s how !
