It seems easy to put the generator on a small platform by the rear bumper. Ive also seen some build a dedicated sealed compartment inside of the truck 

It seems the enclosed version is neater, it keeps the overall length of the truck reduced,and maybe is more secure.. butr takes more skill and work to build the enclosure for it.

The bumper mount is easier, but might add to the overall length, and is less secure (easier to steal)

Has anyone decided to go a certain way then regretted it, and why?
