[:)]I notice that many reviews are from western new york. I’m new to this site, and don’t have the time to search thru it all, but if Ted’s Famous Hot Dogs has not been reviewed, it’s worth the trip. I grew up just outside of Buffalo and every trip home now is not complete without at least one trip to Ted’s. They only use Salen’s (Sahlen’s?) natural casing dogs, apparently only available in western NY ; they have the greatest thinnest cut curly fries served best with cider vinegatr. Sounds gross till you try it, and it is pretty gross on any other fries!, Other ‘must-haves’ are wings from Blasdell Pizza ( the original store on South Park in Blasdell, not the others), Beef on Weck from any local pub, Swiss Chalet chicken restaurants (the one by Transit Town Mall is good) and Oscars Steamers (steamed clams in a signature broth) from Oscar’s on Rte 5 in Hamburg….all to die for!!!
