Been a vendor for 7 years in western Colorado, now the fire dept says they will not let food trucks run with out an Ansul system on vent hoods. Been running without forever. My unit was built to the existing regs, and should be grandfathered under the rules when originally licenced.
I would like to know if this is a requirement at locations elsewhere. Its not a state requirement its local. I think that this is a divisive way to put us and other vendors out of business! This upgrade will cost thousands.
I need info and or references to anybody who has litigated a situation similar to this.[:(!][V]
