Back in the Midwest there was a restaurant (not sure about the spelling) El Ranchorito. They used to have some type of a sauce or gravy that they put over the top of their enchiladas. Not the can type which is red. Does anyone know where I could find a recipe for that sauce or gravy? BTW the color was light/dark brown.
